The Truth about Faking by Leigh T. Moore

Get ready people because Leigh T. Moore comes out swinging with this book. She touched on so many topics that teenagers deal with through the high school years. Struggles with parents, first loves, heart break, gossip and just trying to find yourself and accepting yourself for who you are. I love this book, I love the way Leigh writes. From the very first page I was hooked and in a few hours I had finished this book..sitting at my desk..while I should have been working!!

Harley
Harley thinks she has everything figured out, she knows that Trent is the guy for her and has formed a plan to win him over. Everything is going great until the new kid, Jason shows up at school and derailed mission "Win Trent Over". To make it up to her, Jason agrees to "fake" date her to help get Trent's attention, but the more time they spend together the more that "fake" line gets blurred. Harley just wants to date Trent. She has wanted him since he first arrived at their school sophomore year and now that he is available she can't give up on her dream guy.

Jason

Jason just wants to date Harley. They have so much fun together, she is the only person he can be himself with and knows that she likes him for him and not for the secret he has been hiding from everyone. He makes it clear that he wants her, but she won't let her "dream" go. What does he have to do to win her over? To make her see that she should be with him? Is it even worth it in the end? Half of the school wants to date both Trent and Jason, including her best friend.

Trent

Trent has his own issues to deal with. The ex-girlfriend, his snoop of a mom, and a secret of his own. Plus, there is the little issue with her mom and the HOT massage therapy student she is mentoring. What's a girl to do?

This was an awesome read that I highly recommend!! I'm looking forward to hearing more from Leigh T. Moore.

  1. Thanks so much, Ashley! I love it when people love my books. It's funny when you write how characters become so real, and it's cool when readers get them and feel for them. Yay! :o) Best to you~ <3
