Just for now is the fourth book in the Sea Breeze Series by Abbi Glines, about the story of Preston Drake and Amanda Hardy. Ladies if you thought Cage York was a bad boy, you haven't seen anything yet. This book is steamy, HAWT!!! I promise you will be like..Jax Stone WHO? Marcus Hardy WHO? Cage York WHO?...lol it's all about PRESTON DRAKE!
As with all of Abbi's books, I finished this in a matter of hours, I couldn't put it down.
Amanda Hardy has been in love with Preston Drake for as long as she can remember. Just thinking about him makes her all hot and bothered and now that she is eighteen she is determined to get him to notice her. She doesn't want to be his best friends little sister, she wants to be the one to make him change his playboy ways. She decides to stay home for a year and take classes at a local college instead of moving 4 hours away for school. She tells everyone that it's so she can help her brother, Marcus and his fiance Low plan their wedding and to be there for her mother, but the truth is she just wants to be around Preston. Over the summer she starts showing up at the bar wearing some revealing clothing and achieves her goal of catching his attention.
Preston is so weak when it comes to Amanda. He has had a thing for her for a long time, but he knows that he is not good enough for her, she is sweet and innocent and knows nothing of the world that he comes from. Preston's mother is a drunk who is never home, she has custody of his two younger brothers and his younger sister but she doesn't take care of them. To make enough money to support all of them plus himself he entertains rich older women, who pay him very well for his time. Preston doesn't care about these women they are just a paycheck, but he can never explain that to Amanda. Nobody knows how he makes his money and he wants to keep it that way, plus his best friend Marcus will never let him have Amanda. He is so torn about what to do, he wants her so bad it hurts, but he has to have enough money to support his siblings.
