I just finished Fall from Grace by Christine Zolendz, I LOVED it!! Right now it's only $1.50 on Amazon, which is a BARGAIN! It's also free for Amazon Prime Members.
This book has almost everything that I look for in a good read; bad boy, rock star and something that is definetely paranormal going on.
Grace has been living in a hospice care facility for the last 6 months with her brother who has cancer. Once her brother finally passes and she realizes that she is truly alone in the world she gets in her jeep with nothing but her guitar and drives to her apartment in New York City. Her best friend Lea shares the apartment with her. While Grace was gone Lea started dating Conner, who is best friends with Shane Maxton, the lead singer of a local band. It has always been Lea's dream that she and Grace would marry best friends, so of course she forces Grace on Shane. Grace wants nothing to do with Shane. He is a dog, slut, man-whore that thinks he is the best thing that has walked the face of the earth. From the minute Shane sees Grace; he will do anything he can to be with her.....
Okay, okay, I feel like I have said enough. One of my biggest problems with movies, books, music, anything in life is that I will tell the entire story and then you know what's going to happen so what would be the point of you reading. So, just get this. Fall from Grace is AWESOME! It's a cheap, easy, fast read that will keep you entertained and wanting more....most definitely because it is a cliff hanger... I hate cliff hangers when the other book isn't released yet! I feel like it rips out my soul because I just NEED to know what's going to happen next. Oh well, guess we will have to wait, which sucks. But we get over it and then we read something else, so on to my next read!

My Idea of Shane from Fall from Grace
Well, I just gotta say, Melissa and Ashley that I am honored to have Fall From Grace the first book to be reviewed on your blog! Thank you so much for the awesome review and I promise I am almost finished with book 2! Keep up the great work! Bloggers and their reviews are what make independent authors known, so I thank you, thank you, thank you!
ReplyDeleteIndependent authors are what keep me going! I'm not a big fan of things when they are mainstream and everyone is in the know. I like to be in the know 1st; independent authors help to keep me in that lifestyle lol. Independent authors also are free to write what they want, and how they want and I find that to be more real and enjoyable to read. I started Fall from Grace last night and finished this morning. I just couldn't put it down. I even thought about it in my sleep and that is rare for me. The last time I did that was while reading Thoughtless and Effortless by SC Stephens (and Kellan Kyle is my #1 book boyfriend, so you know you're exceptional when you are in the ranks with him! lol) I can't wait for the 2nd book to come out!! Write fast and keep em coming! I love what you're doing.
