Blurb:
How do you keep going when you feel like your life is over?
Maggie never thought she’d see Clay again. So, she attempts to put her life back together after her heart has been shattered to pieces. Moving on and moving forward, just as Clay wanted her to.
Clay never stopped thinking of Maggie. Even after ripping their lives apart and leaving her behind to get the help he so desperately needed. He is healing...slowly. But his heart still belongs to the girl who tried to save him.
When a sudden tragedy brings Maggie and Clay face to face again, nothing is the same. Yet some things never change. Can the darkness that threatened to consume them be transformed into something else and finally give them what they always wanted? And can two people who fought so hard to be together, finally find their happiness? Or will their demons and fear drive them apart for good?
The thing about love, is even when it destroys you, it has a way of mending what is broken. And in the shadows, you can still see the light.

Review:
For such a powerful theme, this is still an awesome story. This is the ending we needed for Maggie and Clay. I really can’t explain what I am feeling. The best word to describe is closure. I was finally able to gain the closure I needed for Maggie and Clay. At the end of book 1 I wasn’t torn like most other readers, I was pissed! I hated Clay for what he had become and for not taking his meds like he should; but with book 2 I was able to gain a better understanding of why he did some of the things he did and how harmful a destructive personality can be.
In book 1 I was more for Maggie. I just felt like she needed to get out! But now, after book 2, I am on Clay’s side. I have a better understanding of him and a better understanding of the need for him and Maggie to be together. They balance each other out. After seeing them ripped apart in book 1 and then slowly sewn back together, I am all for them being together. They help one another and bring the peace to my mind that I never knew I needed lol.
I still enjoyed book 1 more than book 2, but book 2 was needed to help gain the closure that I desperately needed. If you were a fan of book 1, book 2 is a must read! Oh, and if you haven’t already, go ahead and read Cloud Walking. It is a novella all about Danny and Rachel J
