I have been in some serious need of a hot bunch/rock chick fix! I have missed this whole crew and their crazy antics, it's like having a long lost friend come back home for a visit and picking up right where you left off like no time has passed. This is the final book in the Rock Chick Series and it takes us on a journey of the inner workings of Ally Nightingale and let me tell you she is one kickass chick. If you've read the Unfinished Hero Series by Kristen Ashley then you've met Sylvie and she is pretty badass, but in my opinion Ally has her beat! 
"Backing up a bit, my name is Allyson Nightingale, but everyone calls me Ally. And I'm a Rock Chick, in name and deed. That is to say, I worship at the shrine of Rock 'n' Roll and I live the rock star like, doing what I want when I want how I want."We met Ally in the first Rock Chick book as Indy Savages best friend and the sister of Lee and Hank Nightingale. Ally was the rock chick that didn't want to settle down or take life too seriously, she was a barista at Fortnums and a bar tender at Brothers and that worked just fine by her. Until the day she found her calling in the family business as a private investigator. She knew without a doubt that this is what she was born to do. Now she just has to convince everyone else and that won't be easy with over protective brothers and friends that are ALWAYS up to no good, oh and then there is Ren, the hot Italian who wants Ally as more than just an occasional hook up.
Now that Ally knows what she wants to do with her life, nothing and no one can stop her, or so she thinks. As with any of the Rock Chicks, nothing ever goes as planned, nothing is ever easy. After one not so drunk night she discovers that she has some feelings for the bad boy Ren Zano, but that can only lead to heartbreak. Ren Zano is not the kind of man that you give your heart to and expect it not to be broken into a million pieces. So while fighting these feelings Ally also has to work hard to prove herself to the friends and family that doubt her.
"So tell me honey, if you weren't hammered and you remember all that went down last night, why did I wake up to an empty bed this morning?"This was a bitter sweet read for me, I was so excited to read it and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but as I neared the end I realized that this is the FINAL book in the Rock Chick Series and I tried so hard to slow down and savor it but I just had to know what was going to happen next and I just couldn't put it down. It was action packed, there was always something going on and if it wasn't hard core action it was a Rock Chick hissy fit and we all know they can throw a fit!! Kristen went all out with this book and you can certainly tell she didn't hold anything back.
