GLORIA AND JAIME HAVE A SWIMMING RACE…
I was off to a strong start. Just focus on the race. I forced myself not to take any breaths--a means of keeping him out of my field of vision and not letting him distract me. Kicking and stroking at torpedo speed, I flipped around at the other end of the pool and finally came up for a much-needed gulp of air. To my horror, there he was…several lengths ahead of me. Calling upon every muscle in my body, I caught up to him only for him to swim ahead of me one more time. He shot me a cocky smile on a breath as he passed me by. Damn him! I couldn’t let him win! Furiously, I propelled myself forward, stroking and kicking harder than I’d ever had. We were neck to neck. Breath to breath. Splash to splash. Every muscle in my body stung as I took my last stroke. My head shot out of the water. Clinging to the edge of the pool, I was panting like a dog. I couldn’t catch my breath. My waterlogged eyes fluttered. He was in my face. At the finish before me.

“Get over here, you,” he rasped. Breathing heavy, he took me in his powerful arms and drew me against him. I was too exhausted to resist. My heart pounded against his; I hadn’t been this close to someone else’s heartbeat in years. Before I could say a word, he tilted back my head by the tail of my braid and crushed his mouth upon mine. The warmth of his breath heated mine. His kiss was passionate and fierce. I was panting into his mouth. Once again, I was losing control to this outrageous man. I don’t know why but I just let him do it. Even deepen the kiss as his tongue parted my lips. Inside my mouth, it did a synchronized swim with mine. Swirling and twirling. The F-word resounded in my head. Now what was I getting myself into? And why wasn’t I running away?

Jaime hauled himself out of the pool and then helped me out. He wrapped me up in my fluffy white robe and then slipped on his. He held me against him, and again I was unable to resist. It felt so good to lay my head on his strong chest against the soft terry cloth.

“Come on, let’s take a hot shower together,” he said softly in my ear.

“In your suite?” I gasped.

“No, here. There’s a great handicapped steam shower in the men’s room.” He pressed his heavy erection against me. “And right now, I’d say I’m handicapped.”

I pulled back after our kiss ended. “She already knew. GPS tracking and what not. The phone is registered on her account. Lightning flashed brightly, and Sami noticed for the first time that the curtains were pulled back and the balcony door open. The distant thunder had moved in closer as the second round of storms rapidly approached. A sudden breeze carried in the fresh scent of rain, blowing the white curtains inward so they billowed like ghostly arms that reached out to touch her.

“It’s coming.”

“What is?”

“The rain.”

He kissed her softly while the Beatles were replaced with something less familiar to her. Just a clean and simple guitar arrangement, something almost resembling folk music with a male vocalist whose mellow voice was warmly pastoral.

This is a fun, sexy, steamy read! Anything with hot guys and tattoos I am all in! Scarlett (Scar) is not your typical girl, she doesn't do hearts and flowers or the emotional crap either and I can so relate to that. She likes her beer, her car (which happens to be her baby) and her tattoos. She's been burned in the past and her only constant support is her best friend Teeny. She doesn't give her trust away easily only letting a small group of people in. She's worked hard to get where she is owning her own business so how she lives her life works for her until Mace walks in to the tattoo shop and turns her world upside down. Mace is tortured by his past, by the decisions he made and now has to live with. He has closed himself off, living one day at a time. When he sees Scar for the first time he knows he has to have her, she is sexy as hell and maybe she's just what he needs to take his mind off things. Together they go head to head, face each others demons and have a wild and crazy time doing it. This was a 4/5 stars for me and I will definitely be looking for more from Lola Stark.

If you are a fan of biker books then I highly recommend this book for you. But be warned it's not all cotton candy and gummy bears, some things maybe hard to read.

Addison (addi) just wants to be free, to escape the man that uses her and her mom. She's endured a lifetime of pain and torture and she finally has her chance to run. Finding her father, the leader of Hell's Knights MC and the man that abandoned her when she was young is her only option. He owes her for leaving her in a life of hell, but finding him turns out to be more than she expected. She never expected he would be happy to see her or to learn the truth and most of all she never expected Cade.

 

Cade is a man whore, and this is putting it lightly. There has never been anyone who's old lady material for him, until Addison walks in, all attitude and smart mouth. He knows she's different and he also knows she's hiding something and Cade will do anything to make her his and keep her safe. Cade has his own secrets, a past that he just can't let go of full of guilt and regret, a past that has strong ties with a rival MC Heaven's Sinners member, Spike.

Spike is holding a grudge against Cade, and will do anything to make him hurt. Even if that means hurting Addison in the process. Addison's past and secrets finally catch up to her and since she tried to keep it from everyone there may not be anybody to help her.

REVIEW

This is Bayli Lane's debut novel, but you would never know it. Her writing style and ability to pull you into the story is that of a seasoned writer. She sucks you in and makes you feel as though you are the main character, you can feel each and every emotion as though they are your own. This is a 5 star read for me and I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Bayli has a fan for life and I will gladly read anything she writes. The story line is so real and relatable, not that fluff stuff you read about girls falling in and out of love every second. This book is about young first love and how hard it is to let it go or hold on to it, it's about heartbreak, lies and deceit, betrayal, finding yourself and becoming your own person. 

Lilly and Lauren have been best friends, like sisters since they were 10 years old. They have done everything together. Lilly and Sander have been seriously dating for the past 4 years. The three of them are inseparable. Lilly and Sander are head over heels in love and know they are forever, they have their whole future all planned out. College, Marriage, Family, Happily Ever After. The three of them start college together excited of all the possibilities, meeting new people and making new friends together. It doesn't take long for things to start changing and Lauren and Sander to make their own friends, leaving Lilly behind.

As Lilly adjusts to her new life, she makes new friends and one of those friends just happens to be the sexy bad boy Colton.
