Review:
This was such a fun read. You know I don’t read teasers or synopsis’, but I did know that this was about a student teach relationship. I was like yea!!! Another book about a hot male teacher and his college student……WRONG!!! I was super surprised when I realized the hot teacher was actually a female and that the students weren’t college students…but former high school students. Now don’t get all pervy, it’s not like that. The students are now 23 and 24 and the teacher is only 29, so that’s not a bad age gap.
The triangle in the book had me on edge. I really loved both of the male characters, but leaned more toward the sweet, innocent Leo than the cocky yet sweet Briggs. There were times when I didn’t think that Janelle (our teacher) was doing anything wrong, but then other times when I was so pissed because of the situations she was in. It’s like, she doesn’t date either guy, yet it felt like she was seriously sneaking around behind their back.
Along with the fun, sneakiness of the book, there are also some really hot sex scenes. Janelle (Miss Garrity, lol) really takes her career as a teacher seriously and teaches Briggs everything he needs to know on how to please a woman. He gets reprimanded, rewarded and even put to the test of everything he has learned. This was an awesome twist to the dom/sub situation minus all of the pain. Janelle says do this and Briggs says yes ma’am.
I read this book in one sitting. It was very entertaining and thrilling. I can’t wait to move to the next book. 3.5 stars.
